That's why the Laeng side of the family just had Christmas last weekend.
With nurses, doctors and police officers all in the same family, that's just the way it is.
It didn't' matter that it was almost mid-January. We tend to make our own traditions.
Getting everyone together is hard to do ... but worth the wait for...
cousins playing....
kids opening presents...
and time to spend as a family...
